AUSTIN (AP) — Experts say invasive zebra mussels have turned up in another popular North Texas lake.
The Texas Parks and Wildlife Department says biologists with the U.S. Geological Survey found a zebra mussel near the Lewisville Lake dam.
Last week’s confirmed discovery comes less than a year after zebra mussels established a population in Lake Ray Roberts. Zebra mussels were discovered in Lake Texoma in 2009.
